Tantsu was a series of cradles with which a Tantsu practitioner could gradually build up the trust needed to introduce the more intimate cradles, usually culminating the session with the most powerful, the Pieta. Tantsu was developed in 1980 Harold Dull.

Marty was raised in a Catholic environment but his spiritual growth was tempered by a matrilineal connection to his Cherokee heritage. This along with an early connection to nature began his shamanistic journeying. A student of Attic Greek, philosophy, and theology at Xavier University, he honed his Left Brained skills then entered Northern Kentucky University taking away a major in Studio Art and minors in Psychology and Honors. His Honors thesis titled "Quantitative Differences in House-Tree-Person Drawings as a Method of Function of Drawing" can be found in the W. Frank Steeley Library on campus.
As an animal empath, he has done energetic work with pets, yet refuses the title of "pet psychic". His spiritual path brought him to begin studying Huna (the philosophical- psychological- theology of the early Hawiians) and he is on the path to become a kahuna pule. Marty is also one of the founding Qadishti priests, having attended all Qadishti events held at Our Haven. Moreover, he is a minister with the Tri-State Holistic Congregation in Ohio. Residing in Louisville, Kentucky, he was welcomed into the Unitarian Universalist churches where he was a former member of CUUPS (Covenant of Unitarian Universalist Pagans) and past president of Interweave (a LGBT organization).
Marty teases that he is the lone homosexual at Our Haven or in his words "the only gay eskimo". With this unique perspective, Marty has given lectures on gay issues and is thrilled to be asked to speak at The Jeweled Lotus. In the two hour lecture, Marty will cover aspects of anal sex with emphasis on the releasing of the Root Chakra. It will encompass the spiritual connections, releasing the societal morality, top and bottom, and grounding deity. Gay perspectives on spirituality will also be covered. Laurelei Dabrielle has been a dedicated Priestess of Aphrodite since her 2nd degree ordination within her Witchcraft tradition in 2002, and she has submitted to Aphrodite's call even longer.
Laurelei is the author of In Her Service: Reflections from a Priestess of Aphrodite which has been hailed as "a most laudable effort, well-balanced, highly introspective but based upon history" by Michael Manor of the Qadishti Institute. Laurelei serves as the Hiereia Aphroditus within the Cult of Aphrodite Asteria Starry Queen of Heaven, and she continues to write about her beloved Goddess in Articles, poetry, fiction, and non-fiction.
Salome asked for certain favors, and she offered the still-scandalous “Dance of the Seven Veils” in return. Though much speculation has been offered regarding the specific nature of the dance, many believe that the young dancer wore seven pieces of fabric that came off one by one, in an ancient striptease.
Middle Eastern dance offers so much in terms of grace, sensuality and feminine self-expression. In a 2-hour workshop, Laurelei explores the foundational shapes of the dance, a few graceful and seductive veil moves, and simple strategies for experiencing the music. Scott is a practicing priest of Western sacred sexuality working primarily in tandem with his wife, Laurelei, to meet the needs of the temple. He has facilitated Sacred Touch rituals, the Hieros Gamos, and Aphrodisian rites. He is also a Temple Guard, when needed.
Worshop will include basic weaves and designs to make your own chain maille outfits and jewelry. Experienced weavers are invited to bring examples of thier work and add thier commentary during workshop. Sample weaves will be on display and materials will be available for those that wish to try weaving thier own chain.
A fee to cover materials used will be charged. Fee will vary, depending on amount of material used.
There will be no fee for those that just wish to watch the workshop, or who do not wish to take thier projects with them.

The work shop will be on project planning, the incorporation, and implantation of sensual curves into jewelry/artwork. ( a discussion group with drawings and planning out of a project using curves from people present into the design. everything from the cup of small of the back, to the curve of a breast, or the sway of a hip, even the line of a bent knee, or the point of an elbow.)
The item can include silver, makuma-gane, leather, etc. (On side note while the end item can be very intricate I do need to keep material under 10 oz of silver but that can do a lot lol). Coper and or other silver coper aloys for the makuma gane can expand that a good bit as can leather work either book or shaped and carved the limit is imagination. I can normally figure out how to engineer about any idea into reality with enough time and effort.
I will then make the item (depending on complexity it may take up to 6 months) and picture updates of the project stages as well as completed project can be sent to whom ever wishes. The end Item will be sent to Sarvaga Institute to either sell for funding future Jeweled lotus events, or to use for Jeweled lotus rituals in the future. www.gnomeworks.biz

"Athol spent his youth on a cattle and hog farm. He then went to the University of Missouri at Columbia where he studied genetic engineering. With the help of the Government Work Study Program he was able to actually work in the labs doing gene cleaning, splicing, documentation, and tracking the various results thereof. As he was not happy doing genetic research, he moved on with his life, and has experienced many learning opportunities along the way.
